Alpine Volunteer Fire Department awarded $4,100 grant from the Foundation for Rural Service, in partnership with BBT

Big news! We’re thrilled to share that the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded a $4,100 grant from the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), in partnership with our very own Big Bend Telephone Company, an NTCA member.
This grant will enable them to purchase essential safety equipment. With this support, the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department will further enhance safety services to the rural communities of Alpine, Brewster County, and surrounding areas. 🚒
