What is happening with my services?
Your voice and internet services are transitioning from TDS to BBT. This process will happen in two phases: first, your voice service will transfer to BBT, followed by your internet service. This transition will improve your service quality with enhanced features and local support.

Will my voice and/ or internet service be interrupted during the transition?
We are working to ensure a seamless transition.

Voice Subscribers:

All voice subscribers will receive instructions and new equipment to help complete the switch smoothly. Follow the steps provided to avoid interruptions.

Internet Subscribers:

A small group of internet subscribers will receive a new modem by mail. Follow the steps provided to avoid interruptions.

What equipment will I need?

Voice Subscribers:

BBT will provide the necessary equipment for your services, including an adapter for your phone service. Detailed instructions will be included to guide you through the setup process.

Internet Subscribers:

The majority of internet subscribers will not require new equipment. For those that do, BBT will provide a new modem. Detailed instructions will be included to guide you through the setup process.

When will I start receiving bills from BBT?

Alpine residents will receive their first BBT invoice starting in February 2025. The tentative invoice date for Fort Stockton pending. Fort Stockton customers should continue to pay TDS until further notice.

When do I start making payments to BBT?

TDS will process payments through January 13th for Alpine residents. Beginning January 14th, 2025, all payments should be submitted to BBT. Fort Stockton customers should continue to pay TDS until further notice.

How do I report issues during the transition?

  • For voice service issues, contact BBT’s 24/7 Tech Support at 800.520.0092.
  • For internet issues, continue contacting TDS support at 855.244.0122 until your internet transition is complete.

How can I pay my BBT bill?
You’ll have several payment options:

  • Online: Create an account at ebill.bigbend.com after receiving your first invoice.
  • By phone: Call 844.592.4781 to make a payment with a credit card.
  • By mail: Send a check or money order to 808 N 5th St, Alpine, TX 79830.
  • Auto Pay: If you were previously enrolled in auto-pay with TDS, please call 800.592.4781 to securely set up your automatic payments with BBT.
